Upon the cobblestones her feet touched lay the tale of a society of long ago. Atari could feel it. Each stone told a different story, the villagers, royals, and of fate itself. She had walked only a mile before bending down to grasp something that had caught her eyes. It was shiny and about the size of a dime. There was a little shop next to her. Gemstones and Others it read. She placed the small shiny object on the sill before backing away and continuing her walk. It was a nice day to do so. The sun shone brightly accentuating everything around from the skin color of the citizens to the colors of the birds. A smile spread across her face. Today would finally be a good day.
After walking a bit more she pulled a cantine from a pocket hidden in her clothing. There was just enough water left to quench her thirst but not for long. She wondered what shop would sell her water. In the midst of her thinking a sparkle in the distance caught her attention. Not too far off, but far enough, stood the palace. There must have been plenty of everything there. Not that she really cared for the lifestyles of the regal. She needed to focus on the problem at hand, her lack of water.

Courtney went down to the main hall of the palace. There was always is some of the servants in the hall. She always treated them the same way as she treated the nobles. The nobles keep telling to treat the Servants like servants. But she couldn't do that. Because it just sounded harsh. She never liked harsh. She always be fair to the Magestic. Some of the Magestic servants were by the window talking.
She wonder what they were talking about. They stopped talking when they saw her. They went down the hall to help the other magestic. Courtney went over to the window. In a far but not too far stood a woman. She was looking at the palace. Did this woman need something? Courtney went to the oak doors and push them open a little to get a better look.

Her eyes lingered upon the palace for but a moment longer. Yet that moment was enough to see the large doors creak open. Curiousity now got the better of her. Why would the door open. Was the Princess not busy today? Or any of the royals for that matter. Or were they just preparing to be out and about on what one would call 'palace buisness'. Thus she decided to forget her water problem at the moment and focus on approaching the palace. She did this with quick steps. Not steps of animosity, but rather that of hastiness. It was after all her curiosity that was drawing her ever closer to this grand construction and those who resided within it.

Courtney went out of the doors. She looked to where the Human girl was standing. But to her surprise she saw the girl walking in quick steps to the palace. Did she needed something or did she saw Courtney opening the doors. Was she curious of what Courtney was doing that day? Courtney stood at the top step watching the girl coming closer to the palace. How long has this girl been walking in the plains? She might even be tired for all Courtney knows.
